Endovenous Laser Therapy Treatment in El Paso

What is Endovenous Laser Therapy?

Endovenous laser therapy is one of the main treatments you can receive to treat varicose and spider veins. During the procedure, the doctor inserts a small laser fiber into the veins that need to be treated. They typically enter at the ankle using ultrasound guidance and position the laser fiber.

If you suffer from varicose and spider veins, endovenous laser therapy can help. At El Paso Varicose Vein Laser Clinic, we specialize in endovenous laser therapy and can help you feel like yourself again. Our office always provides caring assistance and can help you throughout the entire process.

EVLT Steps:

1. Lidocaine is given at the ankle, a small needle is used to access the vein to be treated.

2. A wire is positioned within the vein.

3. A catheter is positioned over the wire, the wire is removed and a laser fiber is introduced within the catheter.

4. Local anesthesia is delivered and laser is turned on, and laser fiber is slowly pulled back until exiting the leg.

EVLT is 97% successful.
